The Royal Oak is situated in the beautiful town of Burford, known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds. We are just off the High Street making it a perfect place for a few moments of tranquility. We are most definitely an alternative to a theme pub. Gary Duffy has been the landlord here for over twenty years and during that time has collected over 1200 mugs and jugs which are hanging from the beams in both bars. . We welcome both walkers and dogs. We serve traditional cask conditioned ales and have an entry in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. For 2010 we are the only establishment in Burford in this Guide Book .We offer a 10% discount on a pint of real ale for card carrying CAMRA members.
